Our Damaged Freight policy is in place to better to adhere to our shipping carriers' damage policies. Please note, failure to follow our policy may result in the damage claim being denied. In that case, we may not be able to provide a resolution.
Inspect Shipment
It's imperative that you thoroughly inspect your shipment upon arrival and before the driver leaves. Do not sign off that the shipment arrived in good condition if there is even the smallest sign of damage to the exterior packaging.
Inspect the item itself as soon as possible. In the event that there is concealed damage, we have a limited amount of time to submit a claim.
Contact Us
In the event of damaged packaging and/or product, you must contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We recommend by email at info@vipertoolstorage.com. This will be the best way to send us photos of the damage.
Provide Documentation
You should provide the documented evidence of the damaged packaging, including photographs and any relevant delivery receipts.
We will also require pictures of the damaged item to submit with the claim.
Resolution Process
We will file a claim with the freight company and then work with you on a resolution.
Important Notes
- We advise you not to sign the delivery receipt until you have thoroughly inspected the shipment for any damages.
- You must retain all packaging materials until completing the inspection process and resolving any claims to ensure their importance.
