FAQ
Product Information
What materials are your toolboxes made from?
Our toolboxes are made with sturdy cold-rolled steel and are either powder coated or 304 stainless steel.
What is 304 stainless steel?
304 stainless steel is a popular austenitic stainless steel known for its excellent corrosion resistance and durability, making it suitable for a wide range of domestic and industrial applications. It's composed of iron, carbon, and a significant amount of chromium and nickel, which provide its characteristic resistance to oxidation and corrosion.
Are your casters non-marking / suitable for clean rooms?
Most of our toolboxes come equipped with black polyurethane casters. While they are durable and smooth-rolling, we cannot guarantee that they will be non-marking for a clean room. Our salon carts come with nylon casters.
How much weight can the drawers hold?
Our toolbox drawers are rated to support 100 lb to 250 lb, depending on the model.
What are ball-bearing slides?
Ball-bearing slides are mechanical devices that use steel ball bearings housed in a carriage or frame to support and facilitate the smooth, effortless sliding motion of objects like drawers, shelves, or industrial equipment. By replacing friction or roller systems with rolling ball bearings, they significantly reduce friction and offer a higher load capacity and durability
What is Viper SlideLock Technology?
Our innovative Viper SlideLock Technology secures all drawers by centrally locking their slides for unmatched reliability. It outshines traditional methods that lock drawer backs, and eliminates the hassle of opening lids to release top chest drawers. Paired with a 7-pin cam lock, it delivers superior security and convenience you can trust!
Do your toolboxes come fully assembled?
Our toolboxes require minimal assembly. All you need to do is attach the casters and side handle(s). Select cabinets, lockers, and worktables require full assembly.
