Can I order replacement parts?

A: Replacement parts can be found on the Home page under the Tab “Shop” then “More” then click “Replacement Parts”

What are your toolboxes made of?

A: We use high-quality 18-gauge steel, which is thicker and more durable than the more common 20- and 22-gauge steel. This makes our toolboxes a bit heavier but also sturdier and longer lasting than many other toolboxes on the market today. 

Paint is applied to our boxes using powder coating technology, resulting in a hard finish that’s more durable than conventional paint. 

Our stainless steel boxes are made using 304 stainless steel, which is durable and corrosion and oxidation-resistant. 304 stainless steel is also non-magnetic. 

What are ball bearing slides and why do you use them?

A: Ball bearing slides contain small metal balls that assist in opening and closing the drawers. Ball bearings roll rather than slide, which reduces friction and makes the drawers easier to open and close. This is an important feature for toolbox drawers, which are often used to hold heavy items, as the ball bearing slides allow for effortless drawer movement. We use ball bearing slides as part of the high standard of quality that we hold for all of our products. 

What does the pound rating on your toolbox slides mean?

A: This is the amount of weight that we guarantee the slides will be able to hold for 50,000 drawer opens and closes. So, a drawer with 100-pound rated slides on each side will be able to open and close a drawer containing 100 pounds of weight at least 50,000 times. This estimation is conservative to ensure that our products last a lifetime. However, in order to comply with the conditions of the product warranty, we ask that you keep within the pound rating recommendations. 

How do I register my warranty?

A: ALL FIELDS MUST BE COMPLETED TO ENSURE WARRANTY REGISTRATION. The information you enter will NOT be used for any other purpose. We will NOT share your information with any third party.

What kind of warranty do your toolboxes come with?

A: Most of the Viper Tool Storage products are backed by a limited lifetime warranty “to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the as long as the original owner owns the product.” 

What is your return policy?

A: Customers may return any product purchased, for any reason, within 30 days of delivery, provided it is in new and resellable condition. 

Your return of the item(s) is at your own expense. 

Cala Industries requires that you return your product with all the original packaging material. 

Cala Industries cannot be held responsible for packages that are lost or damaged in transit during the return process. Please be sure to properly package and insure all return shipments. 

Original shipping fees and shipping fees to return the product to Cala Industries will not be refunded. 

Some toolboxes may incur an additional 25% restocking fee. 

How do you ship your products?

A: We send orders weighing less than 125 pounds via UPS Ground and USPS. When your item is shipped, tracking information will be sent to the email address provided during checkout. 

We use several freight carriers, which we choose depending on your location and the size and weight of your order. We strive to provide the most affordable shipping possible while ensuring that your items will arrive quickly and safely. 

My order requires freight shipment—what do I need to know?

A: First, identify whether the delivery address is in a commercial or a residential area. If your order is being sent to a business located in a commercial area but does not have a dock, please let us know that you will require lift gate service in the “Comments” field during checkout. 

Freight deliveries are usually delivered within a 4-hour window; if you must be away from the delivery location during the estimated delivery window, please tell us in the “Comments” section during checkout, and we will ask the freight carrier to contact you prior to delivery so that you can make arrangements to be present when the delivery is made. This isn’t a guarantee that they will contact you! 

A valid phone number is REQUIRED for freight orders. Freight carriers will contact you directly to schedule delivery. Failure to supply a valid phone number may cause delays in shipping, and you may be additionally charged for storage and/or redelivery charges. 

Drivers will not take freight to other areas such as back rooms, garages, upper floors, etc. Please do not ask the driver to move your freight to another area unless you are willing to be charged extra for that service. 

When your shipment arrives, please inspect the outside thoroughly for damage before signing for it! Any damage should be noted on the delivery receipt. We are not responsible for claims on shipments where damage is not noted on the delivery receipt. 

How long does shipping take?

A: Orders are usually processed and shipped by the next business day, and once shipped, please allow approximately five business days to receive your order. 

All orders ship out of our Phoenix, AZ, warehouse. 

What if I need to change my address?

A: Please contact us ASAP if you’ve entered or used the wrong delivery address. We can change it easily as long as we haven’t yet shipped the item. 

If your item has already shipped and you need to make a change, please note that address redirects will incur additional fees even on items where shipping is included. 

What name will appear on my credit card statements?

A: Cala Industries. 

What is the status of my order?

A: When you place an order, you will receive an email confirmation with a link to your order status page. You can click this link at any time to check the status of your order. Please check your SPAM folder for this email as well.

In addition, when your order ships you will receive a shipping confirmation with your tracking number, which can be used to track the shipment.
